Back to the City

Hi everyone!

As you can see, I haven’t been posting as much as before here in my blog. It’s been six months since I left Manila, and it has been a bittersweet experience ever since I landed here in the beautiful, exotic island of Koh Samui in Thailand. Of course, it still does not fare well with our very own Palawan, modesty (and bias) aside. πŸ˜›

During my trip to Laos for my tourist visa extension, I mulled about staying here or going back. It was one of the hardest decisions I made, ‘coz it was a heavy battle — a grand duel — between two opposing concepts of thought. Pardon for being a bit profound, but I love figures of speech, especially that of metaphors. πŸ™‚ In the end, I resolved into compromising and drafted a new plan for myself. I’m moving back to city. I’m going to live in Bangkok for the meantime.

I have found a new job, in addition to the current remote job I have at the moment. It’s not like I won the lottery or a big foxybingo jackpot, but it felt good. A breath of fresh air, I suppose. It’s funny how I tried to shy away from donning something smart, crisp business attire, but to no avail this time around πŸ™‚ Yes, I have to look smart, and not just think like one! πŸ˜€ Gone are the days of being an obstinate, unorthodox hobo-looking hag. But hey, I always put my best face forward during beauty and fashion events back in Manila. Case in point: Philippine Fashion Week!

Does it mean I’m gonna have a look book or sort of everyday peg in the future? I don’t know. Prolly not! I’m way too uncomfortable shy of doing such thing. But, I’ll try to feature hidden beauty and fashion treasures here in the “land of smiles” as they call it. I’ll be making a doorway page for my personal website, and scribe on a new personal blog. That’d be in the near future though, as I’ve plenty of things to cover (mostly silly mundane duties that I am not a fan of doing) for starters.

As what I’ve been always saying, “see you when I see you”. Ciao for now!
