Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Non-Shine Lip Balm suits your lips sans the luster!

Image From: Kiehls.com

Kiehls Lip BalmKiehl’s is one of my favorite brands because of its moisturizing prowess. Now, I’m currently lemming for this lip balm in particular, Kiehls Facial Fuel Non-Shine Lip Balm.

This lip balm is said to work wonders relieving chapped or cracked lips in pronto. I have been suffering from painful chapped lips since I restarted taking my oral isotretinoin meds (in which one of the effects is dryness particularly on the lip area). It also temporarily protects lips sans the shine, leaving the pucker stick-and-grease free.

This pocket-sized lip balm costs $8.50 in a 4.4 g stick. Not bad, eh?

My YSL + Guerlain Mini Loot.

Last Thursday, I got to attend the YSL and Guerlain Press Launch in Robinson’s Place, Ermita. Now, you can shop for your favorite YSL and Guerlain makeup since they’ve just opened two stalls there! Unfortunately, I was very late since I picked up my Smashbox Primer all the way from the QC post office~! That’s why, I actually failed catch up the whole event. Oh well, better luck next time. ;)

Anyhoos, here’s what I got from the event:

Pond’s Age Miracle Line @ Taste Asia

Pond's Age Recovery Line at Taste Asia Pond’s has just released its new anti-aging line that promises to counteract the signs of aging in just 7 days.

And I got lucky to stash home a full-sized jar of Pond’s Age Recovery Cream during the Pond’s Blogger’s Party at SM Hypermart, Taste Asia, Mall of Asia.

This new range promises to be better with its Advanced CLA 4 Complex. Here’s what Pond’s has to say:

Pond’s patented Conjugated Linoleic Acid or CLA anti-aging technology, was the main ingredient in the old formulation of Pond’s Age Miracle, has been blended with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), Retinol and Retinol Boosters to form the new Advanced CLA 4 Complex.

Whoa, sounds like this product is infused with AHA (fruit acid) and Retinol (Vitamin A) which work best to create a younger-looking, smoother complexion–that’s as far as my knowledge goes. ;) (more…)
