Review: Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover SPF 18

Skin Remaker Pore Cover Two-way Foundation SPF 18 - Majolica Majorca

Here’s my HG powder-foundation of the moment: Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover SPF 18. ๐Ÿ™‚

Being the woman on-the-go that I am recently, it’s really hard to wear full makeup on an everyday basis. I just usually dab on some concealer, swipe some lip gloss and curl my lashes as my usual primp-and-pamper routine. On the other hand, there are several days when I have to doll up lest I might look too underdressed or under-made-up, which is an off-kilter to most of the events I go.

I must say that I just gotta hand it over to Majo’s Skin Remaker Pore Cover powder-foundation when it comes to the weight and coverage that I want. It is a two-way foundation that claims “to help correct uneven skin tone for perfectly smooth and flawless skin instantly.”

A powder foundation that maintains skin looking silky smooth. With just one stroke, unsightly pores disappear. Skin appears translucent and smooth just like a porcelain doll. Majolica Majorca

The case (which is sold separately) happens to be one of the things I love about this makeup. This must be one of the prettiest casings I’ve ever seen! What’s more to love about this casing is its easy snap-on design for the foundation refill–you don’t have to worry about actually sticking the refill pan with a double-sided tape or pushing the pan off upon replacement. It’s that ergonomic and worth the investment. Also, looks like it’d last for a very long time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tones Down Visible Pores/Matte, Flawless Finish

The powder-foundation itself provides a medium-to-full coverage with a matte finish. It’s packed with SPF 18, which saves me whenever I forget to wear my sun block.

It also helps in controlling shine (which I never fail to have). Since I also happen to have huge visible pores (which is common for my skin type), it helps in toning them down or making them look less noticeable. It really does a lot in evening out my skin tone. I still have to use a concealer though to achieve a flawless look.

I am satisfied with the coverage nonetheless, as it magically blends well with my skin colour. It also feels lightweight, which is a major plus since the only reason why I frown about wearing foundation is because of the heavy feeling it brings to my skin.

Here’s the major clincher: I’ve never experienced any caking or streaking whilst wearing it even when my face is greasy and/or sweaty. That’s why, I feel confident enough wearing it to work. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Hi! For me, I’d say “yes”. ๐Ÿ™‚ Should you wish for a powder-foundation alternative that isn’t too thick (and won’t go cake-y on your face), Majo’s skin remaker would really be your best bet.
