Stashed : Shu Uemura Pro Concealer

So here I am, now on the verge of searching for the best makeup in town. I consider the concealer as a primordial item in my makeup kit, long before lippies, blushers, highlighters/bronzers and liquid foundations came forth.

It’s also my HG makeup. To think, it’s been my savior all along, camouflaging those flaws on my skin–hence, blemishes and dark undereyes.

I’ve been a Cinema Secrets fan, but trying new won’t hurt as long as it’s quality, too!

Anyhoos, I got ahold of Shu Uemura Pro Concealer at 5% off! :) Shu Uemura was on sale that time. The MUA picked 7YR as my shade since my skin color’s medium-light with yellow undertones. I somewhat adore the packaging. It’s in a mini translucent plastic box, wherein you could also put other Shu Uemura Concealers altogether with its “side” locks.

I love how the color actually blends well with mine, albeit it is hardly buildable. I had a hard time putting much since it kinda looks unnatural. Great thing it doesn’t cake or streak that much. I only have to be careful topping it up with pressed powder since it tends to smudge off easily.

I’m still loving Cinema Secrets since it’s a lot easier to blend, and it’s buildable. But, I should say this concealer is better than MAC’s. MAC Concealer, under cold conditions, loses its emolliency and tends to solidify, making it really harder to blend or even to go well with my concealer brush.

Anyways, this packs for only 2.5g, which is a bit costly for a $23 retail price.
