A few months ago, I’ve asked my friend I if she knows someone (a guy that is) who can review this product for me. Gladly, one of her friends did.

NIVEA Arctic Freeze Oil Control Wash and Shave Gel is a 2-in-1 cleansing and shaving solution especially made for men on-the-go. It’s a quick and easy way to wash your face, and at the same time, work on the lather to shave without having to apply a shaving cream in addition.

The advanced formula forms a cleansing foam, which effectively removes dirt & oil and softens the beard. The foam then forms a lubricating barrier to provide the razor with a smooth glide.

It has FREEZE Cooling Agents that work biochemically on the skin’s temperature receptor, giving a stronger and long lasting cool feeling.  It’s formulated not to sting the eyes, yet retain the cooling sensation upon use. Guarana deeply cleanses and normalises the oil production of the skin. Moreover, its Special Formulation for Shaving allows smooth and nick-free shaving.

Need not to worry about girly-girl fragrance because of its Deep Blue Scent that smells so manly.

To use: Lather wash gel on palms. Use the foam to cleanse the face and shave the beard. Arctic Freeze isn’t recommended to those who have strong, scruffy beard.

Lessens Oil Production, Refreshing Feel After

I got the oiliest face, and it has always been my problem. I got no breakouts though, but the excessive shine on my face looks so disgusting.

I’ve used Nivea Arctic Freeze Oil Control Wash and Shave Gel for almost a month now, and the result is amazing.  It has lessened the oiliness on my face. Plus, it’s easy to rinse and leaves my skin smooth & ready for shaving (though I don’t really shave).

The menthol effect leaves a refreshing feel. This facial wash really works for me!

I’ve been very busy lately attending beauty events this month. One of which was NIVEA and Mango’s Glam Express Event held at Mango boutique in Rockwell Powerplant Mall last week.

I was slated to meet Jackie in person that very day, who happened to be a real-life barbie donning a chunky pair of Aldo platform clogs. Together with Earth, the three of us, being the early birds, formed a group and joined the styling contest. ‘Twas funny though that we didn’t focus on the contest’s goal, which was to style the fastest time. Nonetheless, Earth and I enjoyed playing stylistas-slash-buyers whilst dressing up Jackie as our gorgeous model.

L.A. Ferriols, who was such a darling donning an all white ensemble from Mango, hosted the event.
